By the powers that be
will to determine our own future
improve from todays fearful dominance
just to maintain the quality of life
given us when forefathers settled;
that quality is all gone
as we eat out of boxes...
but what of new values?

Convictions to move onward
governed by gravity times mass
how evident it is, time must pass
before we can see any positive change.
A nation is only as good as its parts
with respect to the powers that be
the will to change those parts
means a fresher start,
in spite of fearful controls
that maintains those same powers
which determine so many future lives
although so many live infernally.

mass times quantity times quality times audience

I do the same but I try and leave the audience an escape

Over the top on control on understated violence reminds me of some films but your writing is worth reading

choice of topic, attitude, is probably more into some parts of Germany at the moment.

thinking through this one, as I watch this world spin, out of control
often it seems
in reverse

I was given an example of what happened to the Romans in England when the cost of keeping armies abroad became too much too maintain over long periods...the will to stay wasn't enough.
