The noon-sun horizons at lesser degree,
Both saddened and glad of the changing's
Geese fly at night, not needing to see,
The crux of the action, hides from meanings.
*
Both saddened and glad of the changing's
Susan's weep seeds from fading black eyes,
The crux of the action, hides from meanings
Reflections in lakes, mirror clear blue skies.
*
Susan's weep seeds from fading black eyes
Queens with sapphires, white, before freezing
Reflections in lakes, mirror clear blue skies
Summer-birds gather, soon they'll be leaving.
*
Queens with sapphires, white, before freezing
Lingering moments in realms of sublimes
Summer-birds gather, soon they'll be leaving
The tropical day-star, empyreal shines.
*
Lingering moments in realms of sublimes
I Gather kindling, light the night fire,
The tropical day-star, empyreal shines
Now only the snow-birds will sing in the choir.
*
I Gather kindling, light the night fire
The noon-sun horizons at lesser degree
Now only the snow-birds will sing in the choir,
Geese fly at night, not needing to see.

I had to stop after each stanza and re-read each one on the second run through to clearly see each visual, and it was worth it!  Lovely!  Oh, I miss Penn. so much may have to go back next year and park at Liz's, if not for the scenery, certainly Boston Chicken!
