I LOVE IT sweetie. This is beautiful. Of course when don't I love your work? You have such a wonderful gift. The ability to meld thoughts into words is so delightful and I truly enjoy reading your work. Very jealous I did not write this. Love - Kevin.

Excellent writing and it brought some vivid images.  I have read this a few times and the amazing thing is that depending on where I place my thoughts in the beginning, the read takes me to a different place but with each making sense.  So much enjoyed and I am will probably read a few more times.

you just tapped into something i always talk about. poetry (at least mine) is very much left to the reader's interpretation. there are many levels to my work. what i want you to see right away and deeper down, what i saw that made me want to write :-)

i really appreciate such a thoughtful comment. thank you!!

"...to say this poem aloud, without undue pauses at the end of lines,
trying to listen for variations in accent and duration,
respecting such variations and their effect on pace,
rather than relying on...interperation..." make this expression of yours, on one of its many levels, so inviting.

Your title caught my eye. Velvet Snow brings all kinds of pictures to my mind. Your poem is lovely and of course the delicate flower of Velvet Snow.
