Mortal/spiritual or both
Lending sensual ears
Ravished bride of quietude
Winters adieu
Weaving warm still need
New strength and foresight
Lending flowery sweet
Meltdowns
A throne of soft song
Kissing sea of natural shock
Embarking face to face
Pale cast of thoughts
Countenance of breath serene
Temperate comfort
Angelic light welcomes
Full twilight peaks
May-time shuffle
Dancing diamonds bright
Silver-tipped leaflets sing
Cool springs
Bubbly eyes
A fair hand squeeze
Long lashes
Flattering words
Praying mantis
In the parlor of glances
Moments ornament & dream
Plump dulcet hearts thumping
Wishes dare to own
Open poetry
Whispers syrupy hellos
All dressed up with
Places to go
Gentleness, love and trust
Shyly smiles hello

Smiling here - so many visions to enjoy -

You write prettier than a "I just wish I had the money" lady.

In a quiet room
As if it was baptism

Ravished bride of quietude

On a vision of ice
Skating in furs
To provoke Disney

On ice

Of chocolate covered centers
mapping thin ice

Meltdowns

A throne of soft song

Tasting sweet salt of tears

Embarking face to face
Pale cast of thoughts
Countenance of breath serene
Temperate comfort
Angelic light welcomes
Full twilight peaks
May-time shuffle
Dancing diamonds bright
Silver-tipped leaflets sing
Cool springs
Bubbly eyes
A fair hand squeeze
Long lashes
Flattering words
Praying mantis
In the parlor of glances
Moments ornament & dream
Plump dulcet hearts thumping
Wishes dare to own
Open poetry
Whispers syrupy hellos
All dressed up with
Places to go
Gentleness, love and trust
Shyly smiles hello

I still like this

I think it is a goodey

I feel a season struggle here, perhaps a longing for things warmer, physical and, or mental...and a need to distant the undeniable reality of short distance, in time, from where you want to be and where you are...
Perhaps I am way off from your intent, but like so many of your poems, the shine of this one can be viewed from different angles, and its facet glare absorbed, by different eyes, in different tones.

thanks bunches for all of your replys, so nice of you to not only read, but to take time to comment.

David, thank you again and again...smiles and hugs

Ice...no, although I've always been sad to see summer leave...this is a positive write and exactly where I am now....and fond of this life...I've been very blessed, and saved many times....given chance after chance...and words could never describe, how very fortunate I've been.

Not to mention, I've never been happier since I've found PIP...it is truthful and full of talent...eager to celebrate kindness and concern...and I ain't whistlin Dixie....smiles and hugs
Many thanks to everyone here who makes up this fine house of artists.
