low angled sunlight becomes you
as soft shadows caress shoulders

   I want to lean on

times like this
heighten the imagined scent of you

akin to a lingering aftertaste

   bittersweet chocolate

‘though I don’t favor chocolate

I favored you...

the tingle of tongue that remains
   in mere melted musing memory

savored slowly

while in midnight dreams
    we did

‘neath
    low angled sunlight

melt down

And I just thought you had something stuck on the roof of your mouth! Oh all right, I liked it. It was all sappy and stuff. Good thing I'm a romantic!

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

ROTFL. You are way too funny.
See, I can write romance sometimes.

I ain't much into that romance type thing, but I am sure into this meltdown.  Beautifully expressed and nice to read on like this from you.

I enjoyed seeing this side of you.  It is always a treasure in our lives when we find a meltdown!  Ken
