I enter yet unscathed,
Taunted by those memories of mine,
Lost in my present mind
Pouring my passed onto these empty pages.
Here I stand,
With memories come truly alive.
The screaming,
The torment,
Of what it all used to be,
My sister and brother screaming
For mercy they have not yet obtained.
The smell, the horror,
Of how it used to be.
Why must my mind,
Haunt me so?
Insides writhing,
Like a newly plucked guitar string,
I wake up once more
In my house,
Where those memories,
Will forever haunt me more.

memories are can be good and bad i always try to remember just the good. but more and more the bad ones keep coming. especially when i am making changes in my life. i guess someone is telling me something else needs to change. one thing never goes, is memory, short term yes, but days of years gone by, always there. good write
