Between legroom of song
Ascend and fall
Swift peaceful mimicry
Ballroom dancing
Occupies a central place
Our hearts symmetry
Like angel food cake swaths
Full-bodied
Man/woman
Sidle together
Kneading creation
Therapeutic massage
Yesterday…tomorrow
Tomorrow…today
Conviction unbuttons going forward
Immortal crisscrossed paths
Hear
The light in your eyes
From whence gallops a magical horse
Taking us to a place
Where we learn how to love
You tell me your secrets
Life opens doors
Going through the mind of souls
Crying sweetly of a candle beauty
And mighty towers
Drenched in a culture unknown
But by beloved union
Infamous listening brings
The poet of our heart
Whirling musicians breathing
Earth wind and fire
Unto lunar soil of space music
Where we float
Recounting flowers
Are we the mystic’s journey?
The stranger we both know
With a landscape imagination
Knowing #2 pencils
Writing hard-working perception
Where sparks place themselves in our eyes
Signing up for the exposed blinded heart.
I say, we weave blindfolds
With the inside of missing pieces
Till the slivers of blue
Become open season
Walking into each one
One day at a time
Motionless
falling
falling
falling
       into smooth transition
       unto the revolving door
taking us to a slow place
       where we once again become
       change

I had to come in for the windchimes...the epitome and essence of your poem lies within these lines:

where we once again become
                                change

it is as if I became one of the dangling implements of the chimes themselves...amazing read

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Every time you write Lee I have to cut it and work through line by line

Swaying at the knees
Bouncing up and down
Behaving like idiots
With bells
Dominating everything
of everything together
In a message
We might not want to consider
Anyday in the working week
But the weekend looms
As do other things
And we talk
Afterwards of glory and failure
Crescendo and magic
And achievement through imagination
Of music to our ears
Writing passion in timbre
Woodwind in echo
Drums in the night
Echoing a sound to frighten
Those who seek to intrude
Into space
As we drift
Drawing blinding fire
To drench ourselves
In light unknown
To dawn and beyond
As we live unknown
But known to ourselves
In magic of the seas of life
As we fall

falling
       into smooth transition
       unto the revolving door
taking us to a slow place
       where we once again become
       change

Lee I always love your words, your thoughts, your deception of image.

Lovely lady...
As I read this, the music of the wind played in a fountain...that peaceful place where sensualities and sense combine.
Very excellent.

life chimes, Lee
and you never fail to hear and then release, the essence of it in song

Whimsical and romantic with just the right amount of melancholy - - a multiple read!
