                          Clear and Sharp

I kept a hand blown glass
candy dish near the light switch
                          by my office door until
                          late last night
when I bumped it cleanly to the floor
and heard it explode at my heels breaking
                          into hundreds of shards
                          sharp edged
                          impossible to restore

                          then found this morning sparkling
                          in the few remaining facets
                          bits of a rainbow from
                          the rising sun

Always two sides to a coin,
and a silver lining
to any cloud...

THIS...is my of the day!

Karilea - if I whisper, will you listen?  Keeping in mind, I must stand close...

I'm also keeping this one.
What a great reminder, to clearly see more than one facet.

Kewl - love the optimism.

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.
