The sun couldn’t shine this morning
Too many clouds came up the coast
Causing heavenly tears swarming
To fall to earth to flood the yard.
My yard didn’t need it most,
It collects even the smallest rain,
Even when it showers less hard
For it doesn’t ever seem to drain.
In robe and coffee cup in hand
Sit on the back porch and drink
Watching the river over our land,
Where in storms she would come and think.
I can’t sit a watch with out thought,
Memories to me the storm has brought.

A poignant write, of a softly shadowed memory.

Seems rain is everywhere, and on everyone's mind.  It is nice to find the little rainbows it offers -

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.
