I sit here with quiet eyes
with heavy lids
and let my tiny woman fingers
speak in tiny messages

I always thought that was enough

but now in all my hiding

I wish I could hold you
in my arms like oceans

pick you up from the sand
and love you there

beneath the serenity of stars

Well I see you doing...
What I try to do for me
With the words from a poet...
And a voice from a choir
And a melody... nothing else matters
~Stevie Nicks~

Maree, you are such a love, and your poetry is all that, and so much more!

Oh wow!!!

Your writing appeals to me on numerous levels.  Your talent, as I've said, is at the top of our game.  It's simply brilliant.  I have not read one of your delicious little posts that I did not savor.  So much talent in this little world of blue and you stand with the best of the best.  Your words hold such much passion, emotion, and imagery.  It's more than the feeling your watching it on a screen somewhere.  Your style seeks to engage all of my senses.  That is what amazes me about your posts.  Another great poem.  Can you tell I'm impressed?

freak me out?

Lovie, the only thing that freaks me out is the spark of this muse.

You are most precious to me--and I feel most undeserving.

I do this again, thrice.

This went from a miniscule pearl sized poem,
to a wonderful frieze of magnificent feelings...

Now write one for me!

finger trails leading to cosmic dust in starlit play across the heavens.

Such power and impact in your write.  I love the succint passion you get with your pen.  Very much enjoyed and definitely well worth the click that brought me here.

Now this is no insult honest!  Those beautiful words should be inside a card!  I can think of many a long distance friendship or love that would hold these words so dear Maree.  You lady are a treasure to behold.
