Dreaming in the clouds

I have been reminiscing a bit lately about a boyfriend I had 5 years ago. He really made an impact on my life, and I am hoping that in the future I can find someone just as special as he was.

Two Dozen Roses

Sweet and attentive
Playing special song
Traces of inventive
Slow dancing along

Two dozen roses
Old country manner
Knock on door poses
He’s a savvy planner

Amazing timing
First anniversary
Into arms climbing
Rose induced nursery

You: one rose per month
As my love exposes
Me: one rose per month
Equals two dozen roses
As your love composes
