The Complexity of Temptation

Between the Lines

Until the moment
rises to meet
and know the reasons
behind the tears
that stain
a face mirrored
in sadness

Until the beauty
can be seen
beneath
and the universe
can open up above

The impact is coded
in meaningless phrases
and a lack of will
leaving the emptiness
that eats away
at memories
that can no longer
satisfy

Forever bound,
in the endlessness
of those shadows
that lead and follow
depending on
the turn of a word
stretched
too far and
in between
straining,
wishing to fulfill

But caught,
always caught
in the synthesis,
the complexity
of temptation.

Wow..This is really really good..I really liked this verse

Forever bound,
