CRAZY JIM-BOB’S SALOON
by
Bill & Donna
~~~~
It was a plain old saloon in the back hills
of West Virginia with a dance floor cozy and a
three piece band playing the blues kind of
soft and sexy filtering through the place, and
as I stood at the bar eyes met and whispered
to each other without words…
I mentioned dance and you nodded your
head that said yes and when we came
together on the dance floor I held your hand
in mine, your waist touched softly with the
other and the music felt as if it were coming
from inside…
The rhythm joined us as one, your fragrance
mesmerizing, your hair smelling of sweetness
soft to my touch, hips swayed together
warm as the summer night, and we danced
again, once again as before…
Crazy Jim-Bob’s Saloon, it was that kind of place,
~~~~
Lights were dimmed down on low
almost as though we were dancing in
candlelight, setting the perfect mood…

We swayed gently to and fro as
you held me tenderly, arms wrapped
around holding me tight as the
moment gave in to a feeling oh so right…

I laid my head on your shoulder
not wanting the music to end
and somehow by sheer luck the band
began playing soft and sexy again…

Crazy Jim-Bob’s Saloon, it’s that kind of place, …

Enjoyed the soft, sultry atmosphere and wish I were dancing on the floor of Crazy Jim-Bob's Salloon with a warm honey

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.

Nancy, Susan, Kari, thank you. It was a pleasure to write with Bill again and possibly a follow up to this might happen when time allows.

Donna - thank you for writing this with me. I know I've not been around for a while, but the two businesses are taking up most of my time. I'd love to do more writing, perhaps soon.

Thanks again, it was great doing this one.
