God Never Sleeps

I dream of golden showers
As my closed eyes peer into amber heavens;
These blackened irises, open to the joy of prayers
While the songs of blameless Angels
Blow my golden tears softly onto cloud-like pillows…
Glistening tears on white linen,
Are not a witness to sadness that life consumes
But are from the joy and love from God above---
Happiness my waking heart eternally croons.

Marcel

This is lovely-

Susan

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.

A nice peice. I enjoyed it. Not to make lite of your work here but I bet R. Kelly could really identify with the first line.
