Curiosity

Curiosity is a flea
That lives within the mind of me
It walks in tar and leaves its scares
In trespass beyond the stars

It wars upon my every seem
And eats the manna of my dream
It storms within a pleasant sail
It drinks my blood till I am frail

It curses me uncertain dread
And will I fear till I am dead
It turns the rainbows of my road
Into a sinister abode

It is a tenant with a lease
Born to vent and will no peace
That holds a mirror to my face
To show disintegrations pace

But I am cool this mental tea
For surely it will leave with me

curiosity can also be a great learning tool...hunger for knowledge, to me shows great things about a person...it's how you use that knowledge that I believe might be the key

Tremendous write...Good morning mr. sy...hope you and yours are doing very well today.  Happy Tuesday...smiles

Sounds more like mites.  Do you need a dip?

Yesterday we were UP, today we are down...

Oh what I would do to upside that frown!

Good morning Sy.  Sounds like it should be
spiked tea time!

My, oh my! Curiosity may have killed the cat, but it sure as little kittens better not kill my beloved sonneteering poet! No, sirrreee bob!

Just the right amount is good! ~ It stretches our mind and opens up new frontiers.

Your inquiring mind has always served your readers well!

~ but remember, Dear One! Moderation in all things! lol

Loves 'n hugs,

Yes. Curiosity is dangerous, it killed the cat afterall... heh, and we don't have nine lives to spare, so we have to take caution when curiosity strikes...

Perhaps a new focus for curiosity tomorrow?  I can't help but love the stuff, but sometimes, it can get one in trouble, for sure! It's good to read your poetry through good and bad times.  (Psst...I have a big red Clifford dog that I'll gladly give you to rid yourself of that flea within your mind!)

Indeed...I am a curious soul, myself...sometimes a curse, but other times I feel that curiousity is how I have come to this better place in life.

A great write, as usual.
