~*~

If I were to miss tomorrow
without tending to the meadow where you flourish
would you call on me then
remembering when, and plant a rose garden.

Can you possibly imagine how I break apart
when you all but shatter the distance between us.
Do I simply not exist anymore
because I'm no longer there.

Just like my phone number wasn't added to your emergency card,
am I to be the person you love last
an afterthought after it's past
would I be worthy, years from now.

When looking back on the passage of time
would you understand my pain and the dying landscape of my soul,
and the depth of which you bind me to it.
Would you then refer to me by name
and call your mother.

~*~

Sorry, I'm just having a crappy day over here~
Ten four, over and out!

Words in search of assurance and acknowledgement.  I hope it's forthcoming.

Yes, I can well-imagine you are having a less than pleasant day, with such feelings of abandonment and not being appreciated. May the phone ring soon with a loving voice telling you how much you really are loved and missed.

They get so caught up in their own lives that time slips by so quickly!

Loving hugs,
EA

Oh, I can feel this, Bluesy.  Yes, we all have "those" days and it's good to write it out but then again, maybe it just entrenches it even more.  Something for me to think about.

It is such a good feeling, when those we love take a moment to call and let us know that we are in their thoughts...a simple thankyou, or a smile of encouragement, are the giant things which move us into meters of harmony...

Hugs and good thoughts sent your way

There's no quiet like an unrung phone.
Somewhere, someone longs to call you.

Nicely written.  Ken

Through rubble and trouble and dark of night
The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light

Thanks for being here you guys,  I really needed that!
(could you tell)
These days are so hard on me, although I
know my situation isn't unique.

It's just so much worse when, "you are there"
