Blue October

Tonight is perfection
this night is ours alone
we'll make love by the firelight
hidden away from the rain
in eachother's warm embrace
tonight

My love it is burning
inside my heart, yearning
shaking from your feather touch
but you make me feel alright
and I want to make you feel alright
tonight

Outside, the blue October sky
is painted with silver winged stars
and a white halo moon shines
over this sleeping town
as you lay down in my arms
tonight

My love and my affection
for you and you alone
we'll shape a love by candle light
hidden away from the rain
in eachother's warm embrace
feels so right

In the dark of night
when the last spark dies
from the smouldering embers
I'll whisper my promises to you
a loving glow in your eyes of blue
the color of the predawn light
in the aftermath of one perfect night
together

this blue October love
so right
so right
this blue October love is perfection
like your lakeshore eyes
and your sunrise smile
so bright

Zach, this entire poem is lovely, but this passage, yummy -

Outside, the blue October sky
is painted with silver winged stars
and a white halo moon shines
over this sleeping town
as you lay down in my arms
tonight

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.
