1. Tofu Heart

Mercy
on this fatherly heart of mine.

It's like made of tofu,
pure white, soft and easy to break,
high in protein, low in cholesterol
and easy to chew.

Furthermore,
it's Chinese.

2. Something Deep and Far

A native Chinese, and
A naturalized USA citizen,
Was engineering majored, but now
Working in the gaming industry,
Having a wonderful wife
Together with three beautiful children,
A steady job with good income, housing high
Up on the Sierra-Nevada mountains,
Breathing the fresh air every day
While embracing the bright sunshine,
Live and learn
In peace and quiet.

Yet,
I feel there is something
Deep and far

Calling!!!

"A neutralized USA citizen"
typo? I'm assuming you meant naturalized
LOL, neutralized puts an entirely different twist on the whole write.

An enjoyable read, one that begs for a followup.
Something calling you to more distant mountains?
You've just inspired to go back and re-read Po Chu I, and Lao Tsu.

BTW, being vegetarian, I usually eat tofu, and have never thought of it in this context. But it is definitely an interesting way to think of the softness, the give-and-take of a heart.

Oops, a obvious mistake. But it did twister the meaning to some extent, should I change it or not? I am not quite sure.
