Awaken the Sleeping Giant

Behold the dawn of coming age
when hammers fall for freedom's rage.

Blessed the sound of trumpet's call
that causes terror its perilous fall.

Sand to silence the wicked cry
as freedom's plight fills the sky.

Run through the brambles, thickets and thorns.
Run from the bull's principled horns.

Trampling evil, severed night
split with fire and patriot's light.

Suffer the swift and steady advance
as you witness the resolve of soiled lance.

Heroes perpetuate our twilight fair,
bearing monition to those fathering terror.

Never to tire or falter in chase
Never to surrender this precious place.

Lady of liberty, immigrant mother
Sheds tears of sorrow for fallen brother.

Yet, she stands so proudly still.
Attestation to our unbroken will.

Strike our home!  Your evil defend!
You'll find iron resolve to effect your end.
