All in the name of advancement of career in peace as war when there's much to fear progress put great cities on the map progression and regression at a snap Two steps forward one step back much ado about rewrites for school books fill up emptied classrooms, powdered nooks forward steps display progress backward ones occur after school recess the prime of youth wasted at multiplex lines ignores parking meters, to seek auto fines... Is there a man, who for all dreams walks forward and progresses when he knows regression, when positive change can be permanent in ever precarious social arenas... instability is an indicator for change.. that might move forward in linear fashion like a progression of faithful worshippers or the ones that follow another draped casket... as always, a disadvantaged child collects in a bamboo basket... but for a brighter tommorrow; after the moon, there's mars might give thanks to progress to count his lucky stars. |
