We used to brew our homemade wine
Always succeeded, all went fine
We made it from apples, cherries and such
Three barrels each time, yes...rather much

Once there were gooseberries, quite a lot
We cooked them in a very big pot
And then we had to swirl them around
Tucked in a pillow slip, an old one we found

For swirling we used a spin-dryer you know
The juice came out in a constant flow
But then it started to rain real hard
The bathroom I used for the next swirling part

Suddenly a bang and the hell broke loose
All over the walls was dripping the juice
On the ceiling, in thoothbrushes and the loo
The slip had collapsed and the spin-dryer lit too

But not only juice was splashing around
All the fruits too on the ceiling I found
It took me almost a week to clean
It was a mess as you never have seen

That year we made no gooseberry wine
And I decided to draw a line
Not ever again we spin-dryed inside
At least not with fruits stuck in pillow slips tight

Like scattered leaves...my words will flow

I am laughing so hard I nearly spilled my wine! Though it isn't gooseberry.
Titia, this is priceless!
May I print this out and put in on my wall?

Be my guest Midnitesun. Somewhere I must have a photograph, made after the splash, couldn't find it at the moment, but I guess your imagination can draw a perfect picture.

All you have to do is book a flight Marge.
You're welcome any time, but the guesthouse still looks like it got a visit from either Charley or Frances. It has walls, a roof and windows, but nothing more really.

Truly hope Ivan won't hit you my friend.
