Guess who?
Behind you, I hold my hands over your eyes.
You guessed.  No surprise.
I suppose you heard me open the door.
Or maybe you heard my shoes tiptoe 'cross the floor.
Perhaps, you caught the scent of my perfume.
Maybe, you heard me chuckle when I entered the room.

Guess who
Loves you more than words could say?
You guessed.  Twice right you are today.
I suppose you heard my heartbeat out loud.
Or maybe you heard my inner most voice spread it's happy smile.
Perhaps, you caught the scent of pheromone.
Maybe you felt my perspiration when we stood there all alone.

When I thought I was sneaking up on you and asking you to guess who,
You surprised me instead, by whispering what was in my head,
You’d been hoping for a sign,
So I’ll remove my hands now,
and let you find,
me.

What a cute and fun-loving read! Welcome to Passions!

I especially enjoyed the following line:

"Or maybe you heard my inner most voice spread it's happy smile."

Love & Light,

You have a gentle touch and an eye for detail -- things I value in poetry. So many good poets here, so little time!
