this is my first attempt at writing a pantoum

In mind and heart truth dwells, for me to see.
While seeking truth from others can be hard.
This truth I keep, I hold sacred to me,
And to others I give the same regard.

Yet so often their truths, lost in lies weave.

How many times have I heard words so dear?

Leaving me hurt by their cold insincere.

How many times have I heard words so dear?
Wanting, needing those words spoke to be real.
Leaving me hurt by their cold insincere.
Do they not care how their words make me feel?

Wanting, needing those words spoke to be real.
Long have I searched for truth, but none has come.
Do they not care how their words make me feel?
I'm left confused, empty, alone and numb.

As others choose to lie from behind wall.

YOu did a sensational job with this Eric.
The presentation was well thought out, and flowed...the beautiful gem written within was quite clear and artfully done.

Indeed, this is one of the harder forms which to master, and I don't have my cheat sheet close by, but if I can get NAN in here...:waving: oh NAN....well, she's one of the queens in Passions of various forms, and if you EVER want to get into her classes, I'd say...go for it. You'll become teacher's beloved student in no time!
