It is as if summer is angry
at autumn’s arrival,
being pushed into exile
by northern wind’s blow,
in a dying last gasp,
summer stokes flames of survival
before laying to rest
beneath winter’s snow.

Exactly Tim, and your images allow us to see the depth of mother natures wrath.  Very well done.

This is a rasping word
crossing the stream
no bridge required.

As always, my friend...
