I'm beginning to worry for you;

you came on the season's turn
with the eyes of a fire,

i assumed you'd be off by now
with wishes blown on spring's dandelion,

it rained last night;

and beside my sleepless pillow
i could feel you, a faceful of eyes,
as you now count on the kindess
that dwells in my heart's embrace,

the storm played above me
in a dousing of bricks,
it haunted the rooftop

and slumber came sporadic,
blinking between traffic lights,

you stayed on my thoughts throughout
in the harshness of the nighthours,

and i prayed you found shelter
until the light of the morning
would reconnect our tossed destinies,

i'm beginning to worry for you;

summer's barely lamented,
and i'm becoming encrcled
in your faceful of eyes, raging with fire,
battling the blindness of winter.

very metaphoric...wonderful visuals...done with elegance and charm
Interesting write, held my attention all the way through, wondering how it was going to end.  Good jobber!

Nice, like the touch of winter in your ending. (not much good with critiques)

A beautiful intro to the harshness
of the coming season . . .
May it be a mild one . . .

Oh I like this one! So many ways this can be read, and all of them good. Great images.

Wow, I really really enjoyed this.

I think I'll keep it.

Layers within layers, and all gently introspective, where you're truly at your best...I like this very much.
