The sky is washed out tonight
Can feel the grey in my mood
As the treeline begins to look wrought iron,
I think of all the ways my céleste is graced
with one letter from you

The requiem of cloud masses begins
The heaviness is breached,
splayed, then erased
My twilight, candled
from the weave steeped in sepia
Almost tea berry,
touching me to blush
as the witching hour comes on
with feathers of dark,
caressing the places
I cannot reach alone

I watch the scene make love
as a voyeur of watercolor and suffusion
The movement,
and the contrasts draw my eyes
I refuse to look away

Even when the hands grasp
the firmaments
and bend light
into bodies of brazen shimmer
that fall into a rippled state
of painted sate
with the coming...bruise of night
I am seized
in the merest hint of friction
Pink
and palmed
‘cross my skin
The marks
still visible
to the naked eye

one of those places
where the music is water
on the outside of the windows
and you can taste the sound
through the glass

enjoyed it RW

Like silk drawn over the face,  so tantalizing,
not wanting to feel the end trailing
across closed lids.  That is what your poetry
is....

I love your description, especially:

As the "treeline begins to look wrought iron"
I can't think of a more perfect description!  Enjoyed.

Oh my Regina, your writing is simply elegant!
I do so admire your talents and the tender love
that pours so purely through your poetry.

So lovely you are in your finery~

I think that is a very sensual thought! And how exciting to see you again. A treat I'll treasure.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
