You Know Me

You feel me
well beyond the wall
of a weathered soul.

You touch me
in ways beyond words
or comprehension.

You hear me
far beyond the summit
of my silent cry.

You see me
beyond the horizon
still reaching out to you.

You shall know me
beyond mortality
still loving you
...everlasting.

you will feel my gentle touch
in the depth of the lonely night.

you will feel me with you
when you walk the path alone.

you will hear me sing to you
the lullaby of these poems past.

you will see me next to you
when you are afraid of being alone.

I am there with you, always.
At my heart's core,
I am there for you.

My love shall not wither
with our youth.

It is sustained
...for all time.

Even in darkness
You know who I am.

I am the man you married
beyond the wall
of this weathered soul.

Hello Kevin. BRAVO! I love this. You write so eloquently to her. The depth of the love you hold in your heart is abundantly apparent. You have offered up here a true testament that even Shakespeare himself would weep to read. I LOVE THIS! (Huge applause!)

Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history!

Kevin,
I know that experience too well. Very well done for a lovely lady, I'm sure.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Sigh, so lovely.  I bet she certainally appreciates a heart such as yours, Kevin.

Hey Kevo. This was a very admirable write. In the sense that I wish I had a wife to share emotions deep beyond compare. A legendary love, which I can see yours is such.

wow....

I don’t want the world to see me
cause I don’t think that they’d understand
When everything’s made to be broken I just want you to know who I am
