{From my Journals of Endless Winter}

~~*~~
{I ask wind for words}

but the trees are still
awaiting rain
green stretches from horizon to horizon
wrapping everything into moments
when I was young with you

I have remembered you fondly
the song  -- the music
the way our feet left prints
on the beach and our
shadows ran behind us

how in winter     stands the lonely tree
each limb more silent then the next
with promises of rebirth  and growth

and when my heart is full of pain
the rain will tap the glass and reflection
and I will await such a reply:

that love stood a moment in your eyes
that words lay upon your tongue
their sound will sleep with each dream

here your heart began the echo
and offering

reminding me the fragrance of morning
in open flowers

cradles    the air

between two sleeps
~~**~~

I don’t want the world to see me
cause I don’t think that they’d understand
When everything’s made to be broken I just want you to know who I am

Well Lauren,
I'm happy you decided to share. I love this...

Beauty from start to finish....and these lines:

"that love stood a moment in your eyes
that words lay upon your tongue
their sound will sleep with each dream"

....make me wish I could see the world through your eyes for even a day.

Very beautiful, gave me a warm feeling while reading it. I'll remember this one, as well as your talents.

To know this love is a blessing, to understand and appreciate it's worth is purity of soul between two.  Awesome write as always.

talking on the phone
with your back to the trees
wishing they would move around
and be lovely in front of you

you will move the room soon
with your love thoughts
