Between the Lines

Beyond A Wandering Mind

Tired today, from what the fresh air grows.
Patterned behavior rising to the occasion
with a touch of bits and pieces of me,
trying to rediscover the blessings that exist.

Tweak my emotions and the discipline
loses control, doors opening
beyond the need of a wandering mind.

Between the lines, where no one knows,
meets the scattered gems of recall,
where I will be if ever needed, always waiting
in the darkness of the night, when loneliness
turns toward thoughts of you.

M

"in the darkness of the night, when loneliness

How well I understand this Maureen.
But you said it better than I ever could.

I'm taken by the depth of this! You say it so easily... I so enjoy your wandering mind and poetry.

Well now, that is impossible to avoid. Peace...

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

"Patterned behavior rising to the occasion"

sometimes a blessing, sometimes a curse...

yanno? I could see you going through your routines in this one, and I feel like I know you well enough to know that no one would ever guess what boils under the lid either.

(and some time you will have to explain to me what a "rock booth" is...) grin

love ya "M",
