Todd was odd, or so they said,
Touched they’d say, off in the head,
Now Todd was not quite like all others,
Had no sisters, nor no brothers,
No friends with whom that he could play,
So all alone he’d walk each day,
Amongst the trees and creatures wild,
To places yet by man defiled.
He’d feel north’s breeze upon his face,
Savor deep of nature’s grace.
One day Todd just up and left,
No one to cry, to feel bereft,
His parents long since dead and buried,
Who knew the pain that odd Todd carried,
As he journeyed life’s lonesome track,
Todd was never coming back.

What a sad poem for such a pretty day...
but there are those who live
just like this.

Thank you, Sir.
