In delightful array words lie on a page
end to end mixed and matched perfectly
in rhyme and in sync with time’s ebb and flow
and in tune with the moon’s changeable moods.

I’m lifted and carried to the land of nowhere
hindered by complex and intricate thoughts
and I hold the load, the burden of soul,
of repetitive expressions
and declarations
of the awesome power of love.

But I glide through the sky of beautiful lines
till naked I land where I’ve always been
in a vacuum denied the full import of life,
barred from the true meaning of love,
and no goal to clothe my reason for being.

A haze overlays what future remains,
the trickle of rain brings no growth today,
and the words on a page like a derailed train
remain stuck in a ditch of extreme trivia.

Beautiful lines of love and desire
and, oh, how the wind whistles and wines
to drown out the song of spirit love
and remove all trace of its existence.

Now I must sleep until you believe
spirit love sang for both you and me!

Helen, you write feelings so wonderfully that they almost become mine...
