Re-Tired There is this pain that won't lose its grasp, the cramping of my thoughts joining in as it paralyzes the beginning of what could have been. I have nothing to offer but self, an aging self penned up and fenced in by words, fears, loneliness and change. I fade more and more into the darkness that swallows me and tire of the cobwebs that stick to me as I brush past those memories that no longer hold promise. I am being stripped of the shine that glossed me once into a time of believing and I no longer wish to perform for anyone. You should never have to perform for anyone lady. And shine, I have never seen a star shine brighter! "I have nothing to offer but self, an aging self penned up and fenced in by words, fears, loneliness and change." And when you offer yourself, dear gal, you are offering such a wonderful thing.. and dontcha ever forget it. You always were, and will be, shining your own light lady. Hugs. (check your email M  ) |
