Unknown Reasonings

At times a face in need replaced
When feelings are in want
Creation of the mind in find
Sometimes to tempt and taunt

Unknown, the reasons, sighing why
Emotions can reflect
On memories that dull to see
Or rhyme from one's percept

It circles round and round and round
The powers of the   tion
Reflecting what's perceived to be
When two's not one plus one

Alone in thought in early morn
Awakened by the much
Lightly pressed, in slight distress
These words seem out of touch

So turn the page, by finger lick
The sticking, 'nother shun
Depress my will while sitting still
Emotions overrun...
