Can anyone show me
the right road to take?
Is there such a thing?

Maybe the road lost to me
yesterday.
Maybe the one I will not see
tomorrow.

I suppose I could play these
“what if” games,
wishing I had done better.

I suppose I could stay in one place
afraid I will do worse.
Self-loathing, it's my own
stupidity.

What will I
have accomplished?

In the end, learning,
the road to take is the one I am on,
doing the best I can along the way.

hehehehe, I believe you answered your own question...adding perhaps the key is not to question, but to accept and do the best we can to adjust and feel comfortable with change.

Wonderful write.

Bravo, yes, yes, we cannot roam the what ifs for then we would be nowhere -- Liked this.

You have done well grasshopper.

*smile*

You have asked the right question.

"...when you know
What is eternal
You have dignity
And dignity means righteousness
And righteousness is essence
And essence is divine
And divinity is the Way
Which is final.

Then, though you die,
You shall not perish."

kind of makes everything on an even keel, in a sense, being on the path you are actually suposed to be on for some godforsaken reason it seems at times
very wise
