loose fur is my shepherd
spayed but she still wants
she lays down in the green pastures
and tracks mud on the carpet
she likes avion distilled water
and r&b or country soul

she used to be a guide dog
but shed too much
thus her name
when I walk through the valley
of the shadows
she is a pretty good watch dog
she fears no evil,
except the vet and men
with sticks or canes
but I comfort her then

she steals food from my enemies
or neighbors depending
and rolls in the oil
that drips from their truck
she steps in her water dish
and it overflows
she is a good dog
and will follow me
with love
all the days of her life
and will dwell in my house
forever
as far as she knows

a good one, D...brought back memories of my Afghan, Ginger..although I would never let her get oil on her...too long of hair to get that out of.
