Twilight Zone

I walked a spirits twilight zone
Unburdened by my fetish clay
Beyond my sleeping skin and bone
To search the night and find the day

I heard the echoes of my voice
Each day each link that tethered me
My Don Quixote living choice
This journey into fantasy

A phantom seeking for his peace
To leave his ten commandment stone
A testament his living lease
In place above his resting bones

I loved as well as I could love
And have no message of believe
Within this earth and stars above
My heart was always on my sleeve.

In truth I cannot say farewell
But thank all those that touched my dwell.

Ah, Sy, a most somber write...
touched, as it were, by twilight
but zone to zone you hit me home,
and I am glad it is here you roam.

Hugs and Sparkles...

this has its ache, but you still manage to sing just as easily deep into us.

Sy, Sy, precious Sy...how your tender humilty touches me....
I had to highlight those verses as couplets because each stand alone for their poetic grace.

Ya know Id follow you anywhere...me thinks you could hang the moon in the Twilight Zone.

Sy, I sure have missed reading you this past week (I've been all tied up with work).  I'm taking a little break now to read just a few.  This was so gentle.  It so sweetly touches my afternoon with its grace.   .....jo
