Wonder with appetite enslaves posture
Riding like a wave in coral sunsets
A subterranean breathing motion…
Drowning in cobblestones of golden daffodils
Certain of mid yawns dripping with harvest

Hems growing wet…from child laughter
And the wandering stages of natures face
Thoughts made white like maiden forms
Speckled with wide hanging sleeves

Through fragrant herbs, your sound growing there
Like ancient days of losing reason
Sealing smooth spiraling tales of truth marriage
I am the visitor, collecting myriad turning pegs

Following me everywhere, starting ripples
Forth coming sages with sweet minds
Transplanted and self contained
Liquid pearls of honorable guests, hidden

Shaking the trees of forget-me-nots
Felling to self-examination
Where green streams drink alone with the moon
Living recluse on twilight-mountains, half buried and alive

It’s a rendering of silken musicians with silver combs
Breaking the heavy waves of humbled thoughts
Where fresh colored uplands crawl to our feet
From the caves of level paths and withered sunsets

From the welfare of dry deserts, speaks a northern fury
Where a mind is quieted with cypress canopies
Held by a clear blue sky of happy life
Where at night I lay down to rest…hearing bell sounds
Of reverence and a hearth of warmth
And this provides my fortunes

I was going to highlight certain verses, then I realized I can't...
they are all so well written.
You capture images vividly and present them to the reader....that they can draw them in and absorb them. Very well done dear....well done indeed!

Lee... I wanted you to know..I do read your words... I simply am far too often left with nothing to say that makes sense..and say nothing..

Dear Lee, as said, we are often beyond words to descibe what we feel of your works, never think we do not read, we read but our mouths stay open to the image of beauty; just let me tell you, you have a gift that is honored well. Be well dear friend and take care.

Sincerely
Rick
