My finger found its way
To your slightly swollen lips
And in bare pass touched them
As my own still ached to
But you said it was time to go
And laughed when in the mirror
Kiss pressed
You said people would think you petulant
If you did not dress up the remnants of us
Before presenting yourself

My answer was swallowed
By a rumble of thunder
Which was just as well
       Because the words I spoke
Belied the moisture of the day

Arranged
     You smiled

And asked me to go away
      And by the way
Did I know when it rained
             It was all electric

Some how

I was born on a rainy day, and still love a really good drenching storm.

whewww, those first four lines passionately grabbed the reader by both shoulders with a deep glaze, coaxing to read more...which by the way, didn't take much...excellent read and write.  Excellent!

Well see it was record hot here, so I did this rain dance, and guess it worked as it has not stopped pouring since.  Talk about rain!  Swollen lips is right!  Amazing read sir.

Your head can spill on a page?  Wow that is some trick!

We are both laughing Ron,  and I too agree
that work is money, no matter how you stack
it.  Busy here as well....dodging occasional
hurricanes...and a thunderstorm or three....

Cpat,
It's good to be able to read for a minute or two.  Gosh, you're good!  From the title on down, I could relate to everything. YOu have a marvelous way of communicating with everyone.

Karilea is right...it IS always electric when you write.

Enjoyed immensely Sir Ron
