I remember the time to build
When we set a castle on a hill.
I remember Jack and Jill
With Will tumbling after.
I remember the laughter
When we all came tumbling down.
I remember what came after
When Will was met with a frown.
I don’t know the future
I don’t read minds quite yet.
But history
Is a patient mother
Repeating herself over again.
Jill will find another.
Jack will take a lover.
Jack and Jill Will hike the hill.
This time, not together.

Yes, very clever indeed, Jo, but isn't it sad that we tumble so many times in different directions.

Good morning, Jo.  This was a different write for you. Cute and clever, spiced with sad... It kind of reminds me of advice a mother would give her children.  I hope everything is going great at work and home.

Interesting, jo.  I wonder what lay behind these words, what the thought process was.  Well done.

Jo,  you amaze me with the wit and humor
that you put into your poetry.  Says alot
about the person behind the pen.  Good
things...very good things...
