Last night I sailed beyond what is
Upon a ship of rhyme,
Past Orion and his minions,
Unto the rim of time,
Within my hands I held her words,
My eyes drank of her presence,
Penned across white parchment fine,
Aglow in luminescence
From the essence of her being,
Her soul imprinted there
Upon the fibers of the page,
An ode of heart’s declare.
Whispered breath of muse’s song,
Quilled with beauty’s trace,
Transported from the skies above,
Angelic odist’s grace,
On heaven’s winds her words appeared,
And gathered me within,
To sail upon a ship of rhyme,
To commence of love’s begin.

Tim,  words such as these do not deserve to
sit idly upon the pages blue...A goose egg
is a far cry from what should be of this
poem.
