Between the Lines

0 posted 2004-08-21 05:46 AM

The loneliness is the treasure of my being.
For in it, I have discovered the silence
that anchors me and traces the silhouette
of my pain, that is momentary.

It beings me back to you, time
and time again, to a place that I
never knew I was in search of.

My vision blurs with tears kept to myself
and through it, the silence speaks a memory
where playgrounds bring laughter
and oceans bring thoughts
of the gifts of nature,
from her palette of pastels to
her deepest of blues, and always a rainbow
in the midst of her storms.

Maureen, this is wonderful so deep and thoughtful.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

Oh, those memories!  Me, too, sometimes.  M-lady, this was so well said.   ....jo
