Shivering Flowers

Heedless fingers weave around the sword
And a spattered night time star
Vermilion steps, ricochet off antenna warriors
With plates of armor in their hands, drooling pincers
Begging for generic words…something immortal?

Iron masks look through a print design
Incorporating fickle hearts of men
Tigers eat the weak, while nature’s softer appearance
Plays a single flute…providing golden wings
In the first dreams of lovers and the concentrating poet

Elixir is saving the fox from hunters
Search for me in that moonlit haze
I am that Fox gripping
The unexpected heaving forms of
Unwanted ambiguity of amplified doors
Panting like breath short

Violated dreams sailing nomadic
Or’rwaves, composed of six full moons
Where fall slips into outer shells, and flowers shiver
Churning awareness, cold-blue

Running with end sounds, that grasp my hand
Trying to shake loose this mesmerizing chokehold
It behooves me
That where I shall go….tomorrow
To the autumn rice fields
Where a draw bridge gathers cicada shells
