A lover’s dawn...one that rises slowly with the mist.
Bringing a flutter to lids that closed slowly as dreams
carried the chariot across subtle dunes.

The awakening stir, a slight moan which escapes
naturally, calling softly to the smooth warmth of
a man’s chest...Inside, the beat of a heart, ever
strong against the currents and eddies of streams
flowing across the cotton sheets.

Where be the love of thine lips?  Where be the
velvet of skin?  Where be the fires that burn
ever hot....fires that lap the edge of dreams,
waiting the boil to rise against the brew.

Tomorrow came softly beneath the furrowed
fields of love’s bed...carrying with it the rose.
Lips thirst the quench of desire....and eyes
linger long....consenting, hungering to taste
the fruits upon the chilled platter as moisture’s
dew escapes the finger’s trace.

She knew...as her hands lightly traced the
contours of his spine, bringing rise to the
geese that fly the flesh...bringing a
persistence to her trace.

Tenderly I say to thee my love, that thee
art mine own soul whence the waters
rise the waiting moat.  That thee shalt
carry thy shield for me, and whence
my arms do beckon thee, thee shalt
charge upon thy steed...and together
our ride shalt carry us into the roaring
falls once more.

And together they lay peacefully,
as dawn’s breeze fluttered the
curtain’s lace....and her smile
beckoned once more.

Ah, yes! The "Beginning" of a deeper and more meaningful ~ and loving! ~ relationship!

You certainly handle steaming scenarios with a delicate ~ yet convincing! ~ touch!

Barry, this was hot and steamy...you are most certainly in love, or way to many soap operas, or...? WEll, lets simply leave the dot dot dots...smiles

This was an awesome write, seriously Barry, from the heart and mind of love.

Tremendous write...wish you'd make a movie of this serious...it would be priceless, a love story never yet told.

Have a good day

Dear Sir-

You sing to me, sweet troubadour, thee with the silvered tongue and fair words -- what beauty you do weave with your tales of heart and lover's concern . . .

Susan

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.
