Somewhere in our being an essence does exist
Which sometimes finds a way to touch although we might resist
To leave us feeling joyous in a place of all so sweet
Where all that’s pure grants us what in heaven we might meet

The feeling of emotions, the tears that well the eyes
The touch you offer freely that most days you just disguise
A feeling all so calming, in aura with the mind
Encompassed by a purity that we all wish to find

Which triggers what’s inside us, to glider scope our view
To fill our sight with colour that before we never knew
To then just feel the wonders that we all were meant to know
I don’t know how I got there, but again I want to go

Enjoyed this
Good as is but well might be swell,
both work.
No need to change a word
done well.

needleess to say, in lieu of one of my posts this morning, felt like this spoke directly to me Mr. Rick...however, we posted at the same time...your night, my morning...see how poems so boldly speak to many in different ways...

Lovely words of reassurance...and yes, I'm one of those people that hide true feelings
and try hard to be brave.

Smiles and hugs...wishing you a tremendous day ahead
