Purple was the sky
until the blues of you stopped by,

and I
never saw a true rainbow
             until today.

But you were always a neon light
that did shine in front of me,
though I could not see

clearly enough,

to follow you down that path.

So I sit here wondering,
is the sky still blue for you?

Kacy, you said so very much in this short, colorful poem.  I do love your writing.  Hope you keep seeing the rainbows, girl!   ....jo

When that absent person
Wakes to new horizons,
Are his colors new?
Or just as blue as you?

Well written, Kacy, you've a touch for expressing heartaches.  I hope they aren't all yours.  Ken

The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light

A wondrous write, in which your soul is taking you by the hand and showing you something even greater...perspective and the desire to excel, is what I'm reading here...sad, and yet, knowing that everything evolves...and must...and if all is true love, it will return.

Sending you hugs

(big angel hugs) As always you write with such pure versatility and heart, sweet friend, poets can see the sky in any color I believe and I'm sure he has noticed hues bleed together in his imagination and heart also with your gentle spirit giving him welcome and solace, yay, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kacy, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

I feel humble. There are so many poets here who write so well.
