To be held...

As if my weight were
yours alone.

There are moments...just before
I fall towards you.

When gravity lingers in its
pull.

And weightless in this
sudden contact.

I drift within your
arms.

Now, there you've gone and done it...
or was it the 94 degree temp melting me?

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.

I think sometimes when a poem leaves me speechless, that is about as good as it gets!   ....jo

Eric,
Since I broke my leg, this has new meaning to me!  The perfect poem this morning!  I have to chuckle, as I would love to shift the weight! Take care,

Very eloquent and passionate.  Simple yet flowing gracefully from one line to the next with an incredibly powerful message for someone special.  Well done.
