Seasons shifting
as the trees sway

thoughts unspoken
drift on breezes

can you hear it
as the wind stills?

falling fast now,
midsummer blossoms

painted ladies
crawl beneath oaktrees

hanging vainly
through the earlier sunsets

their colored petals
distorting to grey shadow.

Your poetry is always worthy of better replies than I am capable of writing!

Boy you are rushing the seasons. Enjoy the dog days of summer to their fullest then embrace the tide of falling leaves as they come. Like your stuff though so I am not being critical. Let the attacks begin!

I hate to admit that this was not what came
to mind when I read the title....BUT...it
fits quite nicely.
