You need
someone
to listen

I hear you

You need
some one
to miss you

I miss you

You need
someone
to kiss
to tear you
from yourself
to twist your words
til they make sense

so
I kiss
I tear
and I
twist
Til there is
nothing left

still you persist

Like you need
some one
to tell you lies
well, I was
lying
when you said
you need
some one
to try
and I said
I was trying

You need
someone
to open up
your eyes
and so
do
I

from "Twister":
"Still you
continued
with eyes closed
to the
impending disaster"

then here....
in this poem
the blind leading the blind

how does one open their eyes?
sometimes the dark is a safer place to hide.

soemtimes you write things
that make my tummy ache...
and i dont know why!

maybe you just know how to reach into the reader and find the parts of them that need discovering?

Sometimes relationships can be excruciatingly frustrating.  I had read several of your posts the last couple of days and the most extraordinary characteristic about your talent is your unparalleled ability to communicate so much and so clearly in so few words.  Some of the most compelling, thought-provoking, memorable writings, statements, etc. have been one-liners.  While yours is a few more lines than that, it is of the same caliber and on the same plane.  It is short, concise, well-constructed, and clear...abundantly clear.  Guys have a tendency to bask in ourselves, to seek approval.  For the most part because we're a bunch of knuckleheads.  I often feel like "Raymond" from "Everybody Loves Raymond".  Good read and I really appreciated you sharing it.

Your poetic friend,

Kevin

A gentle pursue of thought here...
In the discovery of what someone else needs, so do we find our own.  Although we all play a role in finding our true path, it was always to be that way.
Enjoy your works very much.

in knowing who we are, takes us by the hand and lends our ears and feelings towards others, the perception of and the want to, give them our greatest gift ever...
This was a clean sweep of all that is...
