Between the Lines

SunStroked

For every weed I pulled and tugged
and struggled to give up its hold
my thoughts were never here with me.
Instead with you, as sweat down-rolled.

Trust me to feel the same each day.
Tomorrow more-so within mind eyes
that see behind these lids when closed
those reeling moments that give rise

To wishful thinking, and fantasy tempts,
finger touch tracings, lips upon mine.
Delicate fabrics of see-through laces
to capture the image and curves of each line.

Whimsical thoughts as laughter increases,
mind doing things the past yet has seen.
Unspoken for now, the steps I will follow
'cause weeding is done and I'm now in between...

Those moments remembering, the anniversaries of
the first and the last times... falling in love.

oh Dear nt, this brought back emotions and memories I thought I had let go of.

Simply beautiful.

I'm keeping it.

Oh yes...you weave a delicate vision that takes the breath away as one becomes lost in your words...Magnificent...
