Sour grapes’ vinegar
stinking up the garden now,
where once grew roses.

LOL, even the sweetest scents can turn sour.
Lots to think about here.

Kacy, I started to write something political and got to thinking about the "Rose Garden."  This is what came out (but it fits with a lot of things right now).  lol & hugs, jo

Susan, one would hope!  hehehe  By the way, your daggers have inspired me to do one I just posted (it's dark, too -- don't know what's come over me).   ....jo

This reminds me I have wild elderberries in the kitchen for a pie.  Got to make that crust yet!  Yum.  Hope I can do it-maybe B. can get the ingredients so I can sit.  Those little berries are so small, it takes forever to remove them from the stem without collecting a lot of stem debree.  I'm just about to make it into elderberry wine so I can sift that stuff out instead!  Can you believe I'd make wine?  If I make it, guess I'll have to try some!!!Wish me luck and a little energy!
Take care.  Loved this! To the library.

Hi Iliana,

I like this -- reminds me of the fallen apples in our yard -- starting to smell like vinegar. It's kind of a neat scent, though, like the way a winery smells.

I pay my kids 5 cents per apple to pick em up and put em in a bucket.

Cool jo

ya know... I get to feeling stinky and funky and sticky this time of year too- then I remember cider season is coming.

Maybe my problem is, I remember the cider before I remember a shower

(big angel hugs) The summer has to end sometime, but I believe now the autumn has beautiful fragrances to offer too, plus you can always hold the summer in the depths of your lungs and breathe it and there you'll always find warmth! (smiles) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Jo, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
